THE LEGEND OF THE MONDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP GROUP
It was a dark and stormy night...

The group has a wonderful and welcoming spirit of fellowship, combined with learning about the AA program of recovery as outlined in the Big Book. It’s hard to miss with that combination!  The average attendance is around 15 people.

The Group format since the start has been the same. We read How It Works and The Traditions, listen to about 15 – 20 minutes of the CD, and then have a discussion. We listen to Joe and Charlie starting every year the Monday after Labor Day.  The tapes usually last until May.

Then from May we decide by group conscience what to do with the rest of the meeting till the next Labor Day. The group has listened to other CDs, had discussion and topic meetings to fill in the rest of the year. The group has quarterly business / group conscience meetings, and they disburse the excess funds to District 52, NIA, and GSO, so that the group can support AA beyond our group needs.
